Blackmore Vale

We are a branch of the Embroiderers' Guild in Dorset and we have a large number of members interested in all types of embroidery, sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet and textile art. We have a bi-annual exhibition in conjunction with Dorset Arts Week. This year is our 25th Anniversary. We hope you enjoy looking at our work and activities during our meetings and workshops.

AGM and 25 th Anniversary

There are not many people or groups that reach the Silver Anniversary these days but our Branch was pleased to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with a wonderful cake made by one of our members and the presentation of silver EG pins to a group of members, many of whom we're amongst the original founders of the group way back in 1988.
