Blackmore Vale

We are a branch of the Embroiderers' Guild in Dorset and we have a large number of members interested in all types of embroidery, sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet and textile art. We have a bi-annual exhibition in conjunction with Dorset Arts Week. This year is our 25th Anniversary. We hope you enjoy looking at our work and activities during our meetings and workshops.

A Workshop with Beppy Berlin

July 2013 was another workshop with Beppy Berlin and this time it was entitled creative pulled work. She encouraged us to paint our evenweave fabric with water colour paints and then we each developed our own design using traditional pulled work stitches - et voila!
