In August 2012 we invited Grace Lister to teach our members some traditional embroidery in the form of white work - hedebo. Grace is a member of a neighbouring branch, Avalon in Somerset and she has been a teacher for more years than she would like to admit to. She loves to preserve the techniques and beauty of hand stitching for future generations and has had a number of articles published in Stitch magazine, the project magazine of the Embroiderers' Guild and other well known and established embroidery magazines. The members soon mastered the technique under her expert eye.
